This fun
and relaxed atmosphere makes the Ice Connection
a great place to have fun and learn how to ice
skate. Our Learn 2 Skate staff is well
dedicated to teaching not only the skills of
ice-skating, but also the fun and excitement
that comes with it. Our head instructor,
Jill Milliner-Simpson has skated with the Ice Capades and has taught competitive youth figure skating
for 18 years. Her top student finished second in the nation.
She has used her vast knowledge and experience in designing this
program to be the success it has become today! |

Learn to Skate
is great for people of all ages, starting at age 5 and
up. Children younger than 5 years of age respond better in the
"Tiny Tots" class, which is offered on Friday mornings or in
private lessons. Parents are always welcomed
and encouraged to skate with their children and follow the
lesson as well. After a 5 minute warm up session, the children
are divided into groups 1-3 based on experience and skill level.
Children just learning how to skate will be placed into the same
group as other children also learning. Whereas, anyone with more
experience will be placed into a higher level. We also offer ISI
testing for those who qualify. Our instructors are trained for
different skill levels to make sure that the individual is
getting the right instruction that they need. |
