Going into an adventure is a great way to take a pause from the daily grind of life. There are many ways to take a moment for yourself and make something out of it. So here are some road trip essentials you should pack in your car. The items listed below are not in consecutive order.  


A couple of blankets in your car can be a great spare to have. You can park somewhere and spend some time without shivering yourself off because you don’t have something to block out the wind and to block out the cold. Blankets can also come in handy when you are travelling with children.  

Eco- Friendly Wet Wipes  

You never know what type of emergency you’ll have while on the road. So, you should get yourself some eco-friendly wet wipes that could help you with just about any type of clean up you’ll need to do. Using an eco-friendly wet wipe will allow you to use something that will biodegrade in time.  

Travel Camera or portable chargers 

If you have a smart phone that takes great pictures you may want to bring a solar portable charger to ensure that you are able to charge your phone during the trip. If you don’t have that. You should get yourself a travel camera. This way you can take photos of great scenes you will see along the way.  

Snacks and a Thermos  

You don’t want to go hungry while on the road and not see any store you can buy some refreshments. So, to avoid this type of problems bring your own snacks. You can make homemade ones if you like, they are a lot healthy and a lot forgiving in the pocket.  

First Aid Kit 

Again, in case of emergencies you may want to make sure that you have a first aid kit stowed inside your car. You don’t really know what could happen on the road. However, you definitely don’t want to lay there bleeding waiting for help to come, when you could fix it with a little first aid kit. You’ll be saving yourself from problems like infections.  

Flashlight and Tools  

You should have a source of light other than your car if you find your car broken. If you assess the damage and find out that you can fix it you should use the right tools so to avoid any injuries. If not, you should call a towing service to help you along.
